With the opening of their new offices in Shropshire, 21st Century AV were contracted as a preferred AV installer to fit out their AV system needs.
2 Curved video wall systems were installed into the rotunda reception area following the curve of the walls, each wall consisted of 4 x 55” LG Ultra Thin Video Wall Screens, displayed in a 2×2 format.
Due to the design of the LG screens, they could be curved via a special jig to the same curved degree of the wall allowing the overall design of the reception area to be maintained.
To achieve the curved wall a bespoke Unicol wall mount was designed and manufactured.
The AV system design had to combine the 5 ground floor areas to be used as either individual or combined spaces for any audio or video input.
To achieve the required flexibility, an Atlona AV/IP distribution system was installed, this allowed any of the connected sources to be shown at any of the screen locations across all areas.
Atlona wall control panels were also used for in-room control.
Every area had a Barco Clickshare BYOD device installed to allow wireless connectivity, again distributed via the AV/IP system to any location when required.
The Central AV System is housed over 2 dedicated AV racks in the comms room on the lower ground floor of the building.
It is supported by the AV/IP distribution system, various local inputs to the AV/IP system such as Freeview, dedicated room PC units, digital signage players as well as the receivers from each of the rooms local inputs as well as a central control system.
The Freeview aerial system is also housed in the central rack along with the Audio Matrix, DSP Processor, Amplifiers, Control Processor.
A rack monitor and control panel was installed to allow control of any area from the rack location.
All racks were built with our own in-house team and facilities.
An NEC 10,000 Lumen, 4K Resolution Laser Data Projector was used for the 4m wide projected image within the 116 Seat Auditorium.
Connected to the AV/IP distribution system and controlled via the touch control panel making the system flexible and easy to use.
Nexo speakers with supporting base speaker were installed for the enhanced Audio reinforcement of the source audio and the Shure wireless handheld and lapel microphones.
An 86” SMART Interactive panel was installed into the Training Workshop with a 75” NEC Commercial Display utilised as a relay screen.
As with all the ground floor areas, a local HDMI connection and wireless connection via the Barco Clickshare system was installed and connected to the AV/IP distribution system and controlled via the touch control panel making the system flexible and easy to use.
A mixture of NEC 75” and 55” commercial displays were installed and all connected to the AV/IP distribution system along with the associated local input sources.
